Of a “get-well” poem:-
“It was so apt and funny, I had to read it again and again!”
Of a poem for a christening, given as a present to the child’s parents:-
“They said it was the most precious present they had received!”
Of a poem about a minor but thought-provoking incident:-
“Ruth is a magician! She understood my feelings better than I did
myself, and captured and expressed them to perfection.”
Of a poem for a retirement:-
“Ruth told my life so well, I couldn’t stop myself from crying.”
Of a poem given at Christmas by a woman to her mother:-
“Ruth said all the things I wanted to express, but didn’t
have the skill for.”
Of a poem about an incident in the past about a doll:-
“It was so moving, I burst into spontaneous tears.” (A man
said this! Yes, my poems have been known to bring tears to the
eyes of grown men!)
Specimens of my work
Because of my guarantee of confidentiality, I publish on this website
nothing that I
have written for any of my clients. It is possible that had I asked
some of them, I would have got permission to publish, but I wouldn’t
even do that.
Instead, the examples I give are work I have written for my own pleasure
and fulfillment. I hope you like at least some of them!
